Greetings From The Beach! 
I am super excited for the opportunity to again welcome you to the 23rd Annual Ocean City Classics. We are working very hard to bring you the very best at this year's Classics.

Every year we strive to enhance the event and try to make this one of the most organized tournaments you will attend. We are adding another grappling mat for the growing Jiu Jitsu tournament. Additionally, we will have new crowd control barriers - this will help with the heavy traffic flow. We will be awarding the most cash prizes of any prior Classics. This year we also have brand new awards for both tournaments.

In 2025 the Ocean City Classics will be completely on-line for both tournaments.

I am so thankful to be your host for the past 23 years. However, this tournament would be nothing without the many supporters over the years. I would like to thank our directors, Jack Shellenberger and Shelby Laws for their vision and hard work. Thanks to all the coordinators, staff and volunteers that make this event so successful. Thank you to all our sponsors for your support and belief in the Classics. And I thank all our competitors for supporting this event each and every year.

We’re thrilled to announce the return of Jiu Jitsu to the OC Classics tournament. 

This event promises to bring together the best local schools for intense competition, camaraderie, and fun.
What’s exciting about the 2024 OC Classics BJJ Tournament?
*We’ve lined up some black belt superfight that are sure to be crowd-pleasers!
There’s a $200 cash prize for the Absolute Gi and Absolute No-Gi winners!
*For the first time, we’ll be running 4 mats, ensuring a smooth competition experience with Smoothcomp.
*Gi and No-Gi divisions will be available for Youth, Adults Men, and Adult Women.
We can’t wait to gather everyone for this incredible tournament! Our goal is to make the 2024 OC Classics the best-organized event yet, allowing competitors to enjoy the rest of their day in beautiful Ocean City. If you’re visiting from out of town, we’d love for you to join us.
